I started coming to youth alive in 2010. I was baptized in 2005 but I never lived as a believer. I had all kinds of habits. I was involved in different kinds of gangs. My father and mother used to pray to the Lord that he would take me away, because they were very much fed up with me. But the Lord led me to youth alive one day. I stepped in just casually, but after few days something happened in my life. There was a special fasting prayer for 3 days in Dec, 2010. After the message pastor told the congregation to spread around in the church and pray personally confessing every sin. I literally went to a corner and cried to the Lord confessing my sins. I left everything and started a new life in the Lord. The youth has been supporting me to grow in the Lord. I have been given chances to serve the Lord in different ways. All my desire is to serve to expand the kingdom of God.
I was born and brought up in sharon ag church. I was taught well in the word in the sunday school. After coming to youth, I have learned the preciousness of living for the Lord. so I always share my faith to everyone whom I meet. I have been baptized and been filled with the holy spirit. I brought my friends to youth alive where they were challenged. Most of them have accepted the Lord. I also brought some youth to the church. My burden is to expand the kingdom of god, so I am ready to do everything that the lord wants me to do for him.
I have been coming to the Youth Alive for few years. I was very much encouraged by youth leaders and the youth. I started growing in faith with the challenging messages by our pastor. Just recently there was 21 days fasting prayer in the church. I was in the last year of my M.Tech. I had a problem with my project so worried about it. I attended the fasting prayer regularly and prayed for my problem. The Lord answered my prayer miraculously. My project was accepted and I was given A grade. I did not have to pay any fine. Praise God. I surrendered my life to the Lord and had taken baptism and also been filled with Holy Spirit.
